Location:

Mason First Presbyterian Church is located on the city square in the heart of Mason, Michigan. Mason is a beautiful community of approximately 8,000 people located approximately ten miles south of East Lansing (home of Michigan State University) and approximately twelve miles southeast of Lansing (the state capital). Mason is the county seat for Ingham County; our historic stone church building sits proudly across from the courthouse square.


Directions to the church:

From I-96

Take exit 106A onto US-127 South (towards Jackson). Travel approx. 6.4 miles south on US-127, to exit 66 (M-36 / Cedar Street). Then follow directions from US-127, coming into Mason from the north (below).

From US-127, coming into Mason from the north:

Take exit 66 (M-36 / Cedar Street). At the end of the exit ramp, turn left onto Cedar Street (M-36). Travel approx. 1.1 miles on Cedar Street to the stoplight at Columbia Street. Turn left onto Columbia Street. After three blocks, Columbia Street bends to the right, then back to the left, merging with Maple Street. Travel straight through the stoplight at Jefferson Street. The church is located one block past Jefferson Street.

From US-127, coming into Mason from the south:

Take exit 64 (Kipp Road). At the end of the exit ramp, turn right onto Kipp Road. Go through the stoplight at Cedar Street and turn left at the next stoplight, onto Jefferson Street. Travel approx. 0.8 miles north on Jefferson Street into downtown Mason. Go through the stoplight at Ash Street and turn right at the next stoplight, onto Maple Street. The church is located one block past Jefferson Street.

From South Lansing or Holt, coming into Mason from the northwest:

Take Cedar Street (M-36) south. Cross over US-127 as you enter Mason. From US-127, continue traveling on Cedar Street another 1.1 miles to the stoplight at Columbia Street. Turn left onto Columbia Street. After three blocks, Columbia Street bends to the right, then back to the left, merging with Maple Street. Travel straight through the stoplight at Jefferson Street. The church is located one block past Jefferson Street.
